Who should use this article

This article is for receptionists who are authorized to complete or review the task in the intended workspace. The person making a consequential operational, commercial, academic, care, access, or compliance decision remains accountable for the result.

Before you begin

  • Access to the appropriate authenticated workspace through My Batoi
  • Authority for the records, action, or decision involved
  • Use a sanitized demonstration record for practice and confirm the intended workspace, role, scope, and responsible owner before changing operational records.
  • Do not place passwords, connection secrets, personal data, regulated information, private documents, or payment details in notes, prompts, screenshots, or exports.

StatusScheduled, Confirmed, In Service, Completed, Cancelled, or No Show. The status should reflect the real service state so the booking list, dashboard, and POS queue agree.
Website request linkThe canonical website booking request, when the link is available.Use the linked request instead of copying or recreating the customer’s source record.
Manual conflict check: The current form does not promise an automated stylist-availability decision. Review the date-filtered booking list and the organization’s approved schedule before confirming the assignment.

Complete the workflow

  1. Confirm the workspace and responsibility. Enter the authorized workspace through My Batoi. Confirm the workspace name, your current role, the record or review period, and the person accountable for the result.
  2. Open the current product area. After confirming Salon access, open Bookings. Match the authorized client record or create the minimum necessary context, then select service and timing.
  3. Check prerequisites and source records. Make sure the required capability, connection, status, relationship, approval, and safe information boundary are ready. Search before creating a new record.
  4. Perform the task. Choose an active stylist after reviewing existing work, save the booking, confirm it through the approved channel, and update scheduled, confirmed, in-service, completed, cancelled, or no-show status promptly.
  5. Review the result. Check duplicate booking risk, client context, service, stylist, date, time, amount, notes, current status, and any linked website request.
  6. Verify and retain the outcome. The booking shows the correct service, stylist, time, current status, and responsible next action. Record every exception and follow-up with an owner and review date.

Verify the result

  • The workspace, role, record, period, and Industry Pack still match the intended scope.
  • The booking is complete, assigned, manually checked against existing work, and shows the correct service status.
  • The visible status, source evidence, owner, exception, and next action agree with the completed work.
  • An authorized reviewer can understand the result without relying on hidden assumptions or information outside Flex.

Safety and governance

Protect restricted information. Collect minimum client information and never publish contact details, preferences, notes, appointment history, or payment information. Use permission-controlled Flex records and the minimum information required for the task.

Do not copy authenticated page addresses, record identifiers, connection details, browser notifications, account information, or unrelated workspace content into public documentation or external communication.

Helpful tip: Ask Batoi Intelligence for aggregate booking patterns, never to infer sensitive client traits or make the final client-specific decision.
