Who should use this article

This article is for salon operators who are authorized to complete or review the task in the intended workspace. The person making a consequential operational, commercial, academic, care, access, or compliance decision remains accountable for the result.

Before you begin

  • Authority for the records, action, or decision involved

Read the Salon POS screen

The current Salon POS page is a dated front-desk queue and status-control surface. Its headline cards have specific meanings:

Total Bookings

All booking records for the selected business date.

Open Queue

Bookings that have not reached Completed, Cancelled, or No Show.

Completed

Bookings whose service status is Completed for the selected date.

Completed Revenue

The sum of recorded booking amounts for Completed records. It is not, by itself, proof that payment settled.

Capability boundary: The current Salon POS screen updates booking status and summarizes recorded amounts. Use the organization’s approved billing, payment, receipt, refund, and consent-based communication processes for those separate actions.

Complete the workflow

  1. Confirm the workspace and responsibility. Enter the authorized workspace through My Batoi. Confirm the workspace name, your current role, the record or review period, and the person accountable for the result.
  2. Open the current product area. After confirming Salon access, open Salon POS and select the correct business date.
  3. Check prerequisites and source records. Make sure the required capability, connection, status, relationship, approval, and safe information boundary are ready. Search before creating a new record.
  4. Perform the task. Review the booking time, client, service, stylist, recorded amount, and current status. Move the record through the authorized service status only when the real-world event has occurred.
  5. Review the result. Confirm that Total Bookings, Open Queue, Completed, and Completed Revenue now reflect the intended service state for the selected date.
  6. Verify and retain the outcome. Continue payment, receipt, refund, or client follow-up through the approved connected process. Do not treat Completed Revenue as settlement evidence. Record every exception with an owner.

Verify the result

  • The workspace, role, record, period, and Industry Pack still match the intended scope.
  • The booking status and completed-revenue summary agree, without implying that Salon POS has captured payment or issued a receipt.
  • The visible status, source evidence, owner, exception, and next action agree with the completed work.
  • An authorized reviewer can understand the result without relying on hidden assumptions or information outside Flex.

Safety and governance

Protect restricted information. Do not expose client details, service notes, payment references, receipt data, consent, or follow-up history. Use permission-controlled Flex records and the minimum information required for the task.

Do not copy authenticated page addresses, record identifiers, connection details, browser notifications, account information, or unrelated workspace content into public documentation or external communication.

Helpful tip: Ask Batoi Intelligence for permitted aggregate queue and completion patterns, then let authorized staff decide any operational or client follow-up.
