Challenge
A US health and fitness publisher had a WordPress portal with a custom theme and several downloaded plugins. The team needed deeper customization, additional functionality, and faster page delivery before moving the site into regular production.
Approach
Batoi upgraded WordPress and its supported plugins, then tailored the publishing experience through theme functions, action hooks, filter hooks, and selected plugin customization. Advertising integrations were also added to support the publisher’s revenue model.
This historical publishing modernization aligns with the Build and Integrations responsibilities of today’s Batoi Platform.
Outcome
The customer moved the customized publishing portal into production and could continue operating it as an online magazine. The engagement also established a support path for resolving technical issues as the live site evolved.
