Challenge

A retail e-commerce company wanted stronger search visibility but was focused on a small set of keywords that were either too broad or unlikely to bring relevant traffic. The website also had limited content to support the proposed search strategy.

Approach

Batoi reviewed the website, search demand, and the relationship between the proposed keywords and the customer’s actual products and services. The team then:

  • defined a more relevant set of commercial search phrases;
  • reorganized and revised website content around those topics;
  • improved on-page search structure; and
  • added the business to relevant directories and social channels.

This historical digital-experience engagement aligns most closely with the Build responsibility of today’s Batoi Platform.

Outcome

Within two months, the website appeared on the first page of Google results for several targeted phrases and recorded a meaningful increase in traffic. The customer also gained a more evidence-based way to choose future search topics.
