Challenge

A US county economic development authority needed a public job portal for employers and job seekers. The experience had to support a diverse audience, give administrators control of published information, and address the authority’s accessibility, privacy, security, and usability requirements.

Approach

Batoi Build was used to deliver the portal in bounded service areas, including job management and public content management. This modular structure made the application easier to maintain and extend.

The implementation also incorporated search visibility, accessibility-oriented delivery checks, encryption for agreed data flows, and recurring security review within the project scope. These controls supported the customer’s requirements; they do not represent a general accessibility or security certification.

Outcome

  • The authority deployed the job portal on a shorter timeline than it expected from a conventional custom build.
  • The delivered application could be adapted beyond the limits of an off-the-shelf portal.
  • Employers, job seekers, and content administrators gained distinct workflows within one public service.
