Step By Step Help for Using Zoom for Batoi Remote Support


This guide will walk you through the steps to use Zoom for availing remote support from Batoi.

Introduction

In some cases, Batoi Priority Support Team might ask you to have a Zoom session to access your computer remotely. It is done to help you troubleshoot a possible issue that you may have. Batoi Priority Support Team will send you a Zoom meeting invitation for a scheduled remote session.

If this is the first time you use Zoom, you must install it by following the prompts.

After the installation is complete, you will be asked to choose your desired audio conference option - A phone call is your typical choice.

You can share your screen by clicking on your Zoom window's 'Share Screen' button, as shown in Figure 1.

Note: The sharing options you see depend on what programs are active. Desktop is selected by default, so you just need to click the 'Share' button as shown in Figure 2.

You can give control of your screen to the host or any other participant by clicking the 'Remote Control' option from the pop-up window as shown in Figure 3.

Choose 'Give Mouse/Keyboard Control to:' and select the '' to whom you want to give the control as shown in Figure 4.

You can click the red 'Stop Share' button (shown in the pop-up toolbar above) at any time to stop the screen sharing as shown in Figure 5.

Click the red 'Stop Remote Control' button to stop the sharing controls as shown in Figure 6.

Click 'End Meeting' or close out of Zoom when finished as shown in Figure 7.
