A Workshop on "Cyber Crimes and Information Security" was organised by NASSCOM-DSCI in Bhubaneswar on Feb 03, 2016.

The main topics of discussion at the workshop include phishing and spear-phishing emails, phishing indicators, various cyber frauds, data theft, and legal provisions, different attacks on websites, website security, and legal Compliance for website hosting providers, and how to secure mobile devices against cyber attacks.

During the workshop, Batoi's Founder Director & CEO, Mr Ashwini Rath delivered a talk on application security particularly on the cloud. It covered various aspects of an App on the cloud and its security vulnerabilities. Apart from this various compliance standards were discussed and best practices were outlined.
