How to Manage Customers

This article gives the detailed information on how easily you can manage your customer organisations by using the filter and export feature with Batoi Apps Cloud.

A Customer is a business or an individual; you might issue an invoice to or sell a product to. Essentially, Customers are where your income comes from.

Add a Customer Organisation

To add a 'Customer Organisation', follow the steps as mentioned below:

Currently, both Tenant Admin and Organisational User(s) can add Customer Organisation(s) for an Organisation.

In the menu bar, click on the 'Sidebar Menu' icon. Then click on the 'Organisation & Users' menu and then click on the 'Customers' sub menu as shown in Figure 1.

Upon doing so, the list page for 'Customers' containing the details of all the 'Customer Organisation(s)' that have been currently added for your Organisation will be displayed as shown in Figure 2. Each step shown in Figure 2 is explained in the below table.

1 Filter Click to filter and view specific customer organisation(s)
2 Download Click to download the list of customer organisations
3 Add Customer Organisation Click to add a customer organisation
4 Customer Organisation Name The name of the added customer organisation
5 Customer Organisation Category The category of the added customer organisation
6 Telephone Number The contact number of the added customer organisation
7 Address The name of city, state and country added for the customer organisation
8 Organisational Unit The organisational unit added for the customer organisation
9 Taxes The tax details added for the customer organisation
10 Identification Codes The identification code details added for the customer organisation
11 View Organisation Click to view the details of the added customer organisation

To add a 'Customer Organisation', click on the '+' button as shown in Figure 3. Upon doing so the 'Add Customer Organisation page will appear.

Download List of Customer Organisations

To download the complete list of 'Customer Organisations' added for your Organisation, click on the 'Download' button as shown in Figure 4.

Upon doing so, the 'Download Customers to Excel Sheet' pop-up window will appear with two buttons 'Proceed' and 'Cancel' as shown in Figure 5 in which a list of fields related to Customer will be available and there will be a checkbox against each field name. Check the fields which you want to be downloaded and then click on the 'Proceed' button to download the list of Customers otherwise click on the 'Cancel' button.

Filter Customer Organisation

To apply a filter to view selected records of Customers, click on the 'Filter' button as shown in Figure 6.

Then enter or select values in their respective fields in the 'Filter Customer Organisation' pop-up window and click on the 'Filter' button as shown in Figure 7.

View Organisation

To view the details of a 'Customer Organisation', click on the 'View Organisation' button as appearing against each Customer Organisation in the list page of Customer(s) as shown in Figure 8.
